What does the Profound + PartnerStack integration do?

The integration connects AI search visibility insights from Profound with content activation inside PartnerStack. Profound analyzes AI-generated answers and identifies the domains and publishers shaping those responses. PartnerStack then helps you activate content partnerships with those publishers through a managed program.

How does the workflow work?

The integration runs inside Profound's Agents product — a no-code workflow builder. A typical workflow fetches citation pages from Profound, transforms the data, and pushes it into PartnerStack via the Recruit node. Teams can chain the Check Network node first to see which citing domains are already PartnerStack partners before reaching out. Workflows can run on any schedule, so citation data stays current automatically.

Where do I start the integration?

The integration is initiated inside Profound, not inside PartnerStack. Go to Settings > Integrations in Profound, connect your PartnerStack account, and drop the Recruit or Check Network node into any workflow. Citation data will appear in the LLM Citation Drivers tab in PartnerStack once the workflow runs.

What happens after citation data is sent to PartnerStack?

Once citation data is imported, PartnerStack matches the domains in the report with publishers in the PartnerStack ecosystem. You can then see which publishers control those domains, review the specific pages influencing AI answers, identify gaps where your brand is missing, and reach out to activate content partnerships.

Do I need both Profound and PartnerStack to use the integration?

Yes. Profound provides the AI visibility analytics. PartnerStack provides the infrastructure for activating and managing content partnerships with publishers. Together, they connect AI search insights with partner-led content activation.

Can I use LLM Citation Drivers without Profound?

Yes. PartnerStack allows you to upload citation reports from other AEO and GEO analytics providers, including Evertune, SEMrush, and other compatible tools via custom CSV upload. The Profound integration automates what was previously a manual upload process.

What types of opportunities does the tool help identify?

Existing partners with influential content: Partners already driving AI citations who may not currently mention your brand.

What compensation models do publishers typically expect?
